Looking to drive a Light Goods Vehicle (LGV) between 3,500kg and 7,500kg? Our Category C1 training course is the ideal place to start.

Also known as a 7.5 tonne or Class 3 vehicle, the Category C1 licence allows you to drive a wide range of vehicles used across industries including supermarket deliveries, removals, utilities, and emergency medical services. You can also tow a trailer up to 750kg.

If you passed your car test before January 1997, you may already hold this entitlement on your licence. Drivers who passed after this date will need to complete additional training and testing to gain the qualification.
