  • Coordinate and optimise transport routes
  • Manage daily transport activity and supply chain requirements
  • Build strong relationships with HGV drivers and customers
  • Support fleet utilisation, compliance, safety, and cost control

Essential requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of transport route planning experience
  • Good UK geographical knowledge
  • Experience in multidrop and general haulage planning
  • Strong communication, organisation, problem-solving, and IT skills
  • Knowledge of driver regulations, working time directive, and transport management systems

Class 2 Multidrop Driver

Heckmondwike, West Yorkshire

A customer-facing Class 2 role delivering pallets across the network, completing multidrop deliveries and collections, and representing James Wilby on the road.

Key responsibilities

  • Deliver pallets throughout the network
  • Complete multidrop deliveries and collections safely and on time
  • Supervise loading so products are secure and protected
  • Complete paperwork, customer sign-off, and handheld checks
  • Maintain vehicle cleanliness and report defects promptly

Essential requirements

  • Class 2 licence, Driver Qualification Card, Tacho card, and full CPC
  • Experience in multidrop delivery
  • Competency using handheld devices
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Strong organisation, time management, and self-management

Class 1 Driver Multidrop

A professional Class 1 multidrop role for a dependable driver who takes pride in safe delivery, strong customer service, and looking after their vehicle.

Key responsibilities

  • Deliver pallets throughout the network
  • Complete multidrop deliveries and collections safely and on time
  • Cover local deliveries around Elland and Brighouse plus collections
  • Supervise loading and check loads against customer orders
  • Complete vehicle checks on a handheld device and report defects promptly

  • Experience in multidrop delivery
  • Competency using handheld devices
